About Skip
Skip was bred at FAREWELLHILL from Lacey, whose heritage includes respected Beauvest bloodlines, and Weasley, Pangatta Ron Weasley, from Pangatta Kennels in South Australia.
Her mother is a blue Australian Cattle Dog and her father is red. Skip inherited a beautiful blue coat, distinctive double mask and rich tan points.
Intelligent, athletic and full of character, Skip has become an important part of the FAREWELLHILL family and breeding story.

Skip’s Personality
Skip is the confident leader of the FAREWELLHILL pack, a position previously held by her mother, Lacey, until Skip decided she was ready to take charge.
Her intelligence is remarkable, and she is highly athletic with an impressive ability to jump. She grew up alongside Moe and the two remain best friends, although that certainly doesn’t stop Skip from occasionally bossing him around.
Skip is also the peacemaker of the pack and will often intervene when the other dogs become overly excited or start behaving a little too boisterously.
She loves people but is far less enthusiastic about travelling. If the car is running with a door open, Skip is likely to disappear and find somewhere to hide.
Inside the house, Skip has claimed her own leather chair. She will happily sleep either on it or underneath it, but no other dogs are permitted to use it. She is also very fond of relaxing beside the lounge-room fireplace.
A Devoted Mother
Skip has raised three litters at FAREWELLHILL, two litters of seven puppies followed by a litter of eight.
Her puppies have displayed a lovely mixture of masks and clear faces and now live with families all over Australia.
Skip is gentle, caring and patient with her puppies. She plays carefully with them, helps teach them appropriate behaviour and remains closely involved until they leave for their new homes.
